Company History# evelopment History I. Foundation (1952–1963) II. Rise (1964–1979) It acquired AC motor production capacity in 1964 and was officially named Shanxi Electric Motor Factory under the Provincial Heavy Industry Department in January 1965. It persisted in research and built technical reserves amid tough conditions. Its aluminum-wound motor and aluminum welding technologies were promoted nationwide in 1971. Its low-pressure aluminum die-casting technology developed in 1974 is still advanced today. III. Innovation (1980–1997) IV. Expansion (1998–2015) V. Breakthrough (2016–Present) In 2024, its core green motor technologies were included in the national Green Technology Promotion Catalogue; it also led three lightweight group standards. In March 2025, the world’s first ultra‑premium‑efficiency YE6 three‑phase asynchronous motor was delivered to Baosteel. It cuts losses by 20% compared with YE5 and reaches an average efficiency of 95.3%, setting a new global benchmark.
